The service

HeyBop is a web and mobile studio for creating music videos, songs and voice-overs. Features and prices may change; material changes are announced in the changelog.

Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old. Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly about unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Credits, plans and refunds

Credits are prepaid units used to pay for generations. Every action shows its cost before you confirm it. Credits are reserved when a job starts and settled when it succeeds; failed generations are refunded automatically. Subscription credits are added each billing period and roll over while your subscription stays active; if the subscription ends, credits you already have stay in your account. Top-up credits do not expire while your account is active. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law, and you may cancel at any time to stop future charges.

Your content

You keep all rights to the audio, lyrics, images, voice samples and prompts you upload. You grant HeyBop a licence to store, process and transmit them (including to the model providers that perform your generations) solely to provide the service. You confirm that you have all rights needed to use your uploads in this way, including the rights to any music, lyrics and likenesses they contain.

Generated output

Subject to these terms and applicable law, HeyBop assigns to you whatever rights it holds in the output generated for you. Acceptable use

You may not use HeyBop to create content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, sexualises minors, harasses or defames real people, or is intended to deceive (including deepfakes of real people without consent). Voice cloning requires that you own the voice or have documented consent from the person whose voice it is. Do not attempt to circumvent credit accounting, rate limits or safety filters, or to reverse engineer the service.

• No automated scraping or resale of the service without a written agreement.

Third-party services

HeyBop uses third-party services to provide generation. Their availability, output quality and policy decisions may affect the service. Failed jobs refund their deducted credits.

Termination

You may close your account at any time from Settings on the web or Account in the mobile app; this cancels any subscription. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. On termination, unused subscription credits are forfeited; we will provide a reasonable window to export your media except in cases of serious abuse.

Disclaimers and liability

HeyBop is provided “as is”. AI-generated output can be inaccurate, unexpected or unsuitable; review it before publishing. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HeyBop's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions: legal@heybop.ai.
