Start with your song
One-time short video · USD 4.99
15s standard video with a watermark. Personal use. First video only; no auto-renewal.
Release-ready video · USD 9.99
Turn your song into a 30-second music video in Standard quality. Ready to share, watermark-free, with commercial rights for this project. 600 credits included. No subscription or auto-renewal. Add credits to extend the same video and keep its export rights.
Standard quality, one song and up to one singing shot. Extra attempts and higher quality use more credits; review the quote before generating.
Script generation is free (0 credits). After reviewing it, generate three storyboard images for 60 credits. Video generation is quoted separately. Video-only estimates exclude these images.
You need the rights to the music and photos you use.
Step 1 — Download the song from Suno
Open the song in Suno, use the download option to get the MP3 (WAV if available). Keep the lyrics handy; you can paste them into HeyBop for on-screen captions.
Step 2 — Upload it to HeyBop
Go to heybop.ai/create, drop the file in. Before payment, review your selected song, look, format and editable direction. This is a settings draft, not completed beat analysis or generated frames. Song analysis and generation follow the confirmed purchase.
Step 3 — Pick a look and describe the story
Choose a scene template and visual look suited to your song, then write one or two sentences about the world of the video: "a late-night drive through a rain-soaked city, headlights and neon, she never looks back". The Director AI turns this plus the song structure into a shot list. Tips are in the prompting guide.
Step 4 — (Optional) put yourself in it
Upload a well-lit, front-facing photo and choose your cast. The photo gives the scenes a reference for your likeness. Review the result; identity and performance can still need corrections. A 6-second Standard photo scene uses 95 credits, compared with 95 without a photo. Singing has its own quote.
Step 5 — Choose length and press “Make my video”
Script generation is free (0 credits). The one-time short video is $4.99 for 15 seconds with a watermark and personal use, first video only. The release-ready purchase is $9.99 for 30 seconds in Standard quality with watermark-free commercial export for that project. Neither is a full-song price or an auto-renewing subscription. Longer versions and extra attempts can need more credits.
Script generation is free (0 credits). For a 3-minute song with 6-second clips and no reference photos or singing, Standard uses 2,015–2,870 credits; approximately $34.93–$44.99 in generation top-ups from a zero balance; Professional uses 7,580–7,580 credits; approximately $115.95–$115.95 in generation top-ups from a zero balance. The lower estimate reuses chorus shots; the upper estimate creates every shot fresh. Photos, singing, replacements and extra exports can add credits. These are generation-only top-up budgets. For the same Standard example, a new Free account’s one-time licensed purchase is approximately $34.94–$46.96 before tax, including the project’s watermark-free commercial export rights and required generation packs. Neither range is a fixed-price finished-video promise. Review your own quote before generating.
Choose the paid short output first if you want to assess the look before extending to the full song. Reference photos and singing change the quote; confirm your selected duration and settings before payment. Compare current purchase options.
HeyBop then writes the storyboard, generates every scene, cuts them on the beat grid and renders the final file. Generation uses your selected quality at the quoted price. The estimate is shown before you confirm, and any scene that fails is refunded automatically.
Step 6 — Fix what you don't love, then export
Open the editor to review each scene and its prompt. Regenerate only the scenes that need changes; a plain 6-second Standard replacement uses 95 credits, with photos and singing quoted separately. Extra final-video formats use 20 render credits each. A hook teaser export reuses existing generated scenes; it does not include free generation. Confirm your export rights and review lyric captions before publishing.
Mistakes to avoid
- Making the song on Suno's free tier and monetising the video — verify the specific song's commercial licence first.
- Writing a novel in the concept box. Two sentences and a clear look beat a paragraph of adjectives.
- Uploading a low-resolution photo for the character reference; use a sharp, front-facing shot with good light.
- Regenerating the whole video when one scene is off — fix the scene.
FAQ
How long does it take?+
Setup is free and separate from generation. Completion time depends on length, quality and demand; HeyBop notifies you when the video is ready. There is no fixed completion-time promise.
Can I add the Suno lyrics as captions?+
Yes — paste them in the wizard and enable captions; they are spread across the sung sections.
Does the video sync to the beat automatically?+
Yes. Scene boundaries are planned on detected downbeats and clips are trimmed to the beat grid at render.
What if a scene fails or gets moderated?+
The credits for that scene are refunded automatically and the scene can be regenerated with a different prompt.
