Which one should you pick?
Why choose HeyBop
- You want failed generations refunded to your balance automatically. Freebeat's refund policy covers only completely unused subscriptions.
- You'd rather pick Lite, Standard or Professional and see one price per clip before each click (95 credits for 6 seconds on Standard) than work from a per-model credit table.
- You want every shot to keep the person from your photo, priced up front at 95 credits per 6-second clip.
Freebeat may suit you better if
- Cost per video matters most: Freebeat's own guide puts a 3-minute video at about $5–10 in credits on its Pro plan.
Questions
By Freebeat's own estimate, a 3-minute video costs about $5–10 in credits on its Pro plan ($26.99/month for 10,000 credits); the exact amount depends on which models its AI director uses, and re-generating shots costs extra. On HeyBop a 3-minute video is ≈$34.93–44.99 on Standard, shown before you start, and redoing a scene costs one clip (95 credits).
Freebeat gives 500 credits on sign-up with no card; free videos are capped at 30 seconds, 720p, watermarked and for non-commercial use. HeyBop gives new accounts 150 welcome credits. Upload, setup and examples are free. Video generation has its own quote; one-time packs start at $4.99.
HeyBop refunds failed and moderated generations to your balance automatically. Freebeat's refund policy (on its pricing page) covers only completely unused, unexpired subscriptions and says credit packs and free credits are non-refundable; it doesn't describe refunds for failed generations.
Yes, on both. Freebeat lets you use your own photo for a consistent character. HeyBop keeps the person from your photo in every shot for 95 credits per 6-second clip on Standard.
